Before I present to you, some social anxiety help, let’s first take a look at what social anxiety is.
Social Anxiety is basically Anxiety applied to social situations and interaction with other people. What makes Social Anxiety different from the normal circumstances of everyday Social life, is that Social Anxiety is triggered by feelings of fear and of disempowering situations such as those situations which you are unfamiliar with and where you are being, or going to be watched or evaluated by others.
This is one of the most common Anxiety Disorders and also the third most common mental disorder in the USA, generally showing up more in women between 15 and 37 years of age, however affecting a large percent of men too. Social Anxiety is also known to go unnoticed for many, until confronted with certain situations, which are new, and require social interaction.
Social Anxiety help may be easier for some than for others depending on the situation they are in, as there are some that are easier to cope with than others, and depending if the problem is associated to anxiety disorders and other emotional factors.
